A FESTIVAL DEVOTED TO TRADITIONAL SONGS OF LANGA CHERASCO MOVIE TO CLOSE 010



Cherasco Movie 010, rassegna cinematografica dedicata alla cultura, ai personaggi e alle tradizioni della Provincia di Cuneo, si chiude martedì 20 aprile con il documentario “Bundì Bundì – Canto per l’Alta Langa” (Italia, 2009, 64’), dei registi Sandro Carnino e Giulio De Leo.

La proiezione –che narra le ricerche compiute dall’etnomusicologa Francesca Borgarello per due anni in Alta Langa alla ricerca di vecchi canti della tradizione musicale orale- sarà seguita da un brindisi finale , offerto Brothers from the basement of Moscone Monforte d'Alba, and by ' live performance of some singers Langhe.
The film, produced by the Collective Don Quixote, hand in hand to rebuild a network of relationships that the time was inexorably erasing, including interviews and recordings, composing a puzzle that will lead to the public presentation of the research.

Fredo Valla was born in 1948 and lives in Ostana, Cuneo valleys. Director and writer, he was trained at the school by Ermanno Olmi. He has made several documentaries for the RAI and the video installations of the Museum of the Alps Bard (Valle d'Aosta) and museums and Elva Blins (Valli Occitane).
